Short Description
Shelly Plus RGBW PM is a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-operated RGBW controller. It can be connected like any LED controller and allows the lighting to be controlled directly from a mobile device or tablet. It supports 3 profiles: RGBW, RGB, and Lights x 4. In the Lights x 4 profile, different LED strips (groups of lights) can be controlled independently. Power measurement functionality allows real-time tracking of voltage, current, and power consumption.
Main Features
- BLE Gateway: Facilitates communication between BLE and Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
- Wi-Fi Range Extender: Retransmits the Wi-Fi signal and extends its reach.
- Scripting: Allows creating automation scenarios through scripts.
- Basic Schedules: Supports weekly schedules and routines, including brightness, transition duration, and flip value of the dimming signal.
- Advanced Schedules: Supports detailed yearly schedules with time adjustments from seconds to months, including brightness, transition duration, and flip value settings.
- Shelly Plus Add-On Compatible: Supports connection with sensor interfaces for Shelly Plus devices.
- Auto On/Off Timers: Enables setting of auto on/off timers.
- Local Actions: Allows creating automation scenarios within the local Wi-Fi network, including brightness, transition duration, and flip value control.
- Webhooks: Supports lightweight, event-driven communication with other devices.
- Independent Control for Each Output (Channel) in Lights x 4 Profile: Provides separate control for each output for maximum flexibility.
- Power Measurement: Precise monitoring of energy consumption.
- Independent Control for RGB and White: Color and white brightness can now be controlled independently with dimming up/down.
- Night Mode: Enables setting specific brightness levels for input lights during nighttime.
- Switch/Button/Analog Input Mode: Allows flexible input control via switches, buttons, or potentiometers (10kΩ analog input recommended).
- Min/Max Brightness: Reframes the dimming range for more precise brightness control (affects RGB in RGBW/RGB; brightness in Lights x 4).
- Button Fade Rate: Controls how quickly output brightness changes when holding a button.
Use Cases
- Power Monitoring: Real-time tracking of connected light power consumption for energy efficiency insights.
- Space-Efficient Retrofitting: Install one of the smallest devices on the market into standard electrical wall boxes, behind sockets, switches, or tight spaces.
- Wake-Up and Sleep Routines: Simulate sunrise/sunset using gradual color and brightness changes; implement circadian lighting to support well-being.
- Child-Friendly Night Lights: Create soothing ambient lighting for bedtime.
- Seasonal or Entertainment Decoration: Adjust RGBW lighting for holidays, seasons, parties, or events with dynamic patterns.
- Smart Presence Simulation: Simulate occupancy by turning lights on/off naturally based on time or sunrise/sunset.
- Retail and Commercial Displays: Enhance product visibility with dynamic lighting in retail environments.
- Enhanced Lighting Control Options: Integrate with popular home automation systems like Home Assistant, Google Home, Alexa, and SmartThings.
- Dynamic Art Installations: Use in art exhibitions for interactive and engaging lighting effects.
